Murder
I was shocked to read the story about how people are killing their newborn female child after receiving Rs. 1800 (under the government scheme to improve the sex ratio) in Rajasthan.

The government then kicked into action and will now follow up on the scenario exposed by NDTV.

What I am shocked at is not the female foeticide that has been going from ages in India with the help of the ultrasound machines, but the fact that people are now delivering their girl baby child, receiving the money from the government and then killing her. Thats brutality!
No matter how you justify it by saying that it is because of acute poverty, nothing can change the fact that this is clear murder.
I wish the government takes immediate action against prevention of abuse of such schemes by the people.
No matter how good the constitution or schemes (as in this case) may be, it all comes down to implementation and this is where our country fails.

Gosh!!!!! This is really sad. I feel sorry for the ones being killed but i feel more sorry for the people who call themselves humans!
